Once you have an 'offer in principle' on a new mortgage deal, let us know. We'll ask you for your existing mortgage/loan account details, and ask your lender for the title deeds to your property and a redemption statement for your mortgage loan.


YOUR NEW OFFER
Your new lender will carry out a valuation on your home and make a formal mortgage/loan offer. Having received this, we'll go through the lender's requirements and conditions with you. If necessary, we'll submit searches on your behalf, although this is usually covered by search indemnity insurance, saving time and money.

Once you are satisfied with the details and we have satisfied the lender's requirements, we'll ask you to sign the new mortgage documents.


COMPLETION
A date for completion of the re-mortgage is agreed and your old mortgage/loan is paid off with an advance from the new lender.

We then register the re-mortgage with the Land Registry, and send you copies of the mortgage documentation.
